I have cigarettes. Where can I smoke?

Most of the people are pointing their hands towards smokers. (One finger, the rest towards themselves).

Few months back, Mr. Anbumani Ramdas, Health Minister, imposed few heart breaking orders on smokers. “No one is allowed to smoke at public places”. Public place means ‘everywhere’. Even you can’t smoke while you are at home. Someone enters there to visit you. If he/she do not like you smoke, he/she can book a complaint against you. See how your home goes public. You can be proud of yourself as your home goes public. I am afraid a little. My wife doesn’t smoke. Will she launch a complaint against me?

I use to drink in the bar and still i can. I am worried about having a peg, supported by a cigarette. The bottle and my cigarette pack is having the same ‘Health Warning’, but why this to cigarette?

Yes, I do agree that smoking may harm your health. The researchers say smoking can cause CANCER. But, the rebel is asking whether the entire lung cancer patients are smokers?

The minister had a very appreciable move by requesting no smoking to Amitabh Bachchan, Sharukh khan etc. but never tried to request his party leaders or colleagues to be ‘clean’. May be survival…..

“Movies should not show scenes with smoking”. It may inspire public to smoke. But can show rape, as the public will close their eyes while the scene starts. Rebel is asking, how many started robbery, rape and murder after watching thrillers? We can expect a ban on the movies, in which political characters are featured. You know the reason.

‘Smoking is injurious to health’. But, driving through Indian Roads is refreshing? A person smokes at the public place (sometimes at homes) may get charged, but the PWD authorities should get ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ as they are doing a nice job by controlling the population.

“Advertisement shouldn’t show any smoking scenes as the public get inspired” and will run to get the cigarette for start smoking. Here rebel raises a question - even after the continuous advertisement through the media against ‘Bribe’ - invisible foundation stone of Indian Democracy’, no one inspired against ‘the deal’ yet. Even against ‘TAKE’

Smoking is punishable offence, but manufacturing and distributing cigarette is not at all an offence. Great.

After a month of imposing the trend setter order, minister collected the statistics from various state governments, regarding the action made by them. And a warning had been given to the state governments, for not using the police force to impose the order and booking more cases. Rebel said, let police run after smokers while anti-socials can do their work peacefully.

Now I need a smoke. Let me find a private place......
